Mexico Trip 2-more pictures

The sunsets were beautiful and the beach was so pretty and warm this time of year. Also at night they had a theater night for the kids where they could dance and perform then the staff would but on a good show that the kids really liked watching. They were so excited every night to go to this show.

So two days we went on a bike ride to this other resort where they have tigers. First off we got really bad directions and ended up going way past the resort but luckily Sean was a good sport and just kept riding until we found the tigers. The tigers were so cute, esp the baby tiger. The best part was I was trying to get close to the baby and take a picture and the mommy tiger charged at me and growled and I totally jumped back because I was not expecting that at all. After the mommy tiger charged at me she grabbed the baby tiger by his neck and it looked like she drug him off to time out in the corner and told him not to play with humans anymore. The kids thought that was so funny.

Mexico Trip-First almost whole family vacation

The kids swam everyday, almost all day and they became little fishes. It was so fun to watch the kids diving in the water and then having diving races to see who could dive the deepest. Sean pretty much won everytime. He can offically dive to the bottom of 5 feet pool without any trouble and pick up a toy. Bri can get almost to the bottom she's just a little off. At the end of the day they were so worn and and sunburnt. Sean was so cute because he reminded me of me when I was little and we would swim all day in the pool or lake on our family reunions to bear lake. He had the same red ring around his eyes and nose even with sunblock always being put on and blood shot eyes from keeping his eyes open underwater. I would get the same thing. The more I think about Im really tempted to put a pool in when we buy our house because my kids are little fishes and even Kaylee loves the water too. Oh ya and my kids made fun of me because I still plug my nose and Sean told me that he could teach me how to swim the right way.

The second day this family we met told us about a really neat place down the beach where you can go help release baby sea turtles back into the ocean. So we got to go and help the baby sea turtles find their way home. It was so neat because they are so little, the littlest wave would just push them back to where they started, so we would pick them up and try and walk them out pass the break as much as we could. We learned that sea turtles follow the smell of the salt in the ocean, the warmth of the sun, and the sound of the waves to make it back to the water. Bri and Sean thought this was the neatest thing ever.

So we finally did it we decided to take our first offical family vacation. Normally we call our vacations going out to see my parents in Idaho but I thought the kids were old enough to go somewhere new and really fun. Except Kaylee we played it safe and left her home with some friends and she had a blast and loved all the attention she got. So we went to Mexico, yes Mexico, Puerto Vallarta. At the resort it was beautiful and so much fun. Out side the resort area not so nice looking. In the daytime all the kids wanted to do was swim and of course have virigin fruit drinks all day long. All the pools had swim up bars, but they had a good selection of kid drinks which was fruit and ice blended together. The kids thought they were so neat because they could swim and drink. We stayed right on the beach and it was warm and all inculsive food, so we didnt have to worry about finding food. Another thing the kids loved. They had a great kids pool with some really fun slides too.

Christmas 2011

I must apologize for not blogging lately it has been really busy and by the time the kids go to bed I just want to sit and watch TV.

Christmas was so much fun this year. Right after thanksgiving the kids were talking about Christmas and when it was going to come. The kids really learned alot about Christ and how this is the celebration of his birth. So on Christmas day after opening all their gifts Sean was like mom we cant forget it is Jesus birthday. I was like your right we need to always remember that. Man our kids keep us focused on what is right.We spent Christmas up at Greg's parents house and the kids loved sharing it with their cousin Hailey and they were all so cute together. Kaylee was trying to figure out how to roll all over or army crawl to eat all the paper, she loves paper. We got to watch Greg play a game and have a really hard time finding his clues but finally finished the game to find out his parents got him a huge tool shelves. Greg's dad put on a look and find game where his dad read a book and it gave pictures of where to go look of treasure. It was so cute to watch, Brianna did very well this year and found almost half of them. The next day for my birthday all the kids, Greg, and his parents took me bowling and out to sushi it was so great. Sean is an excellent bowler and bri is cute cause she's so little but really wants to be good like her brother. Kaylee was happy just watching.

Sorry I cant figure out how to move pictures tonight but the pictures on the top are of Brianna and Sean's school performances. They are so cute and did so well. Bri was Mary in the story of baby Jesus being born. She quietly walked out with a baby under her dress holding it very nicely and then brought the baby out at the right moment. It was so cute and she was so proud. Also the boy Caden that was Joseph Bri says is her boyfriend and that she loves him. Young love so cute. Sean was Satan clause and he say three different Christmas songs. His favorite was jingle bell rocks and he was so cute practicing it everyday. He did so well and say really loud. Kaylee was bouncing around so excited at both performances.

I cant believe it is already Halloween time it feels like it was just summer. They may also be because its still so warm here. So for Halloween we made it an all weekend event. Friday night we went Sean's school carnival which they had fun doing different games. Bri was playing ring toss and got a ring on a soda the first try. Sad that she could not drink the soda it was loaded with sugar and caffeine. After the school carnival we went to our ward trunk or treat and the kids ran around with their friends and loved trick or treating to the cars. Bri even won for the best pumpkin design she of course had a carve a tinker bell design. Greg's parents were great and came down for the weekend and helped out and had a blast with the kids. So Saturday we took the kids to a children's museum which was awesome because one of the exhibits was to paint on the walls of this little house. Then to finish it off Monday at school Sean's teacher dropped pumpkins from the roof into water to see if they sink or float. Sean loved that. Monday night they went trick or treating to the friends neighborhood and ours and loved it. Last but not least the awesome switch witch came and exchanged the candy for a gift. So of course they are ready for Halloween to start again. Kaylee was so cute she just hung out. We dressed her as a pumpkin cause's she's so little and cute. The kids were so cute as Harry Potter and Ariel.

Kaylee is cooing and babbling and laughing

Kaylee is already six months which seems crazy cause I feel like we just had her. So even though she's six months she's still really small maybe nine pounds and she acts like a four month old baby. So couple weeks ago she really took off with babbling and cooing and laughing. She takes so coaxing but so cute when she does. Sean and Bri love to try and make her laugh or talk. Sean 1st day of Kindergarten

I cant believe Sean is so old, he started kindergarten. Its offical I have a kid in kindergarten and goes to school everyday. Its weird having him gone everyday. The first day me and Greg were able to go and walk him in. He was so excited. He sat at his table and said "ok see you later" and waved bye. Then everyday after that he's like you don't have to walk me in mom just drop me off. I wanted to cry, he doesn't need his mom anymore. Of course his favorite part of school is recess. His teacher is Mr Markwell and seems to like him he doesn't tell us much information. So far school has gone much better than I thought due to big classes and not much money going into our schools.

Kaylee 5 Months

Man time flies. Sorry I have not blogged forever it has just been crazy. Hopefully later I can blog about our trip to Idaho. Here are some really of Kaylee at 5 months. I cant believe she's getting so big. This last week she started to smile laugh it is so cute. She laughs the most while she sleeps she must have some great dreams. Bri and Sean are loving her and do so great with her. Sean is my really good helper.

Idaho Trip 2011

So the end of July me and kids drove to Las Vegas and then flew home to Idaho for Grandma Verla's 80th birthday and we had so much fun. The kids loved the farm and loved playing with their cousins Kyler, Kambrea, Damon, Landon, Steven Micheal, and Haley. Bri also loved the little neighbor girl Ali. Everyday we would ride the four wheeler or race sticks down the ditch or ride lamas. Sean even got to try out my dad's new little motorcycle. We had such a a blast.

So the other night Greg wanted to find Kaylee a new room because her bassinet seems huge for her ( not to mention that she is the loudest sleeper) and he found the perfect fit. So we tried Kaylee's new home out to see how she liked it. As you can tell, yes that is a dollhouse and she is on the top level of the doll house. It was so cute. She just hung out. Don't worry Greg let her back in her bed later.

So you can see how much Kaylee is growing in this next picture, she moved up to the baby bath chair that you normally use when they come home. In the second picture it is of her in our bathroom sink where she got her baths the first few weeks she was home. Good job Kaylee your getting big.

This picture I love because it shows how small she really is. She got this stuffed lady and the tramp as a coming home gift from her big brother and sister and look how she is just a little bigger than the dog.

We are loving having her home. I forget how much work newborns are and how they love to eat all the time. The kids keep asking me when she can eat their food and when they can pick her up. I keep telling them when she's ALOT bigger and older, maybe when she's 2! Before we know it that time will be here.

Sean's Graduation from Preschool

Well its hard to believe that my little boy is all done with preschool. Today he graduated from preschool and next fall he'll be going to kindergarten and he is so excited. My baby boy is really big now and some day he wont hug me or hang with me anymore, but Ill enjoy all his love now before he's too cool for his mom. He has made some really good friends at preschool and loves playing with all of them. Sean talks non stop about going to kindergarten and how fun it will be. We love you Sean and so proud of you for doing so good in school.

Brianna's 3rd Bithday

So it seems like just yesterday that Bri was born and now she is three. She acts like she it 16 but so little. Since Kaylee has come home she has been trying to be a little mom the whole time. Brianna asked for a dancing party for her birthday. So we went up to Greg's parents house and had a karaoke party. It was so cute. Bri got two Ariel dresses and she loved them, and she wore the dresses the whole time she was having her dance party. Also she had a barbie cake and it was funny because the cake almost looked exactly like her dress she had on. She got a barbie computer and princess scooter. She has loved them so much, its so cute. Happy Birthday.

Kaylee Made it Home

We are so excited after two very long months Kaylee has come home. I thought I was excited but the kids have been ecstatic. They cant stop touching her holding her or constantly checking on her. It is so cute. I love it. They have been great helpers, even at bath time. Kaylee is keeping us busy, but it is so nice to have her home. Thanks for every ones prayers. We love you Kaylee.

I can't believe he's getting so old. He's going to start school this fall and it seems like he just had his first birthday. He's so cute we had our families out for his birthday and we all went to the park and did face painting, balloon toss, and flying kites. He had so much fun. As you can see he is a great artist. He painted everyones face but his own. I love to see how creative he is. So Sean has moved on from Batman and now he loves Lego star wars or ninjas. I'm sad because I'm not a Lego fan at all I'm dreading the mess the legos will make and I don't know how to put them together. But he wanted them so much that he was praying for them so I gave in and all he got was legos this year and even had a cool Lego cake. Happy birthday Sean we love you.

Kaylee sees her brother and sister

They only got to seeher through a window but it was so cute. Kaylee didn't really know what was going on. Kaylee is up to 2.5 lbs and hopefully start eating this week. Kaylee May McClellan

So, some of you may already know, but last week on March 16th baby Kaylee decided to join our world. She was born at 29 weeks weighing in at 1lb 12oz. It's kind of a long story so bear with me. We knew she had CMV which is an infection and was really small for her gestational age but just when we thought things were going good and she kept growing according to ultrasounds I ended up getting Pregnancy Induced Hypertension or PIH and swelling really bad last weekend. I felt so sick. So because Rachel had PIH with Kyler I decided to have Greg check my blood pressure and sure enough it was elevated but I was still in denial and thought everything would be ok. So Tuesday afternoon I went to see my OB hoping to be sent home on bed rest but instead got told to pack up and head to a different hospital where they could do a ultrasound and do my labs. Greg was at work and I had both kids as we headed to the next hospital to do the ultrasound. Good news there is the baby looked great and was in no distress, but my body was not agreeing. My blood pressure was still up and my labs came back looking bad. So I called Greg right away to come pick up the kids, got a shot of steroids to help the babies lung develop and shipped off to another hospital in San Diego where they have a NICU that can take such small babies. When I got to the hospital everyone was suited up and ready to go to deliver the baby. Needless to say, I'm freaking out! I'm trying to get a hold of Greg to come back and all the while I'm getting poked and probed. Greg was awesome, he woke up the kids at ten o clock at night and took them to our great friends who let the kids stay the night and Greg came and joined me. On March 16th at 12:20 am baby Kaylee was born at 1 lb 12oz 13 inches long. Once they warmed her up she started to cry and fuse and move around. So they took her back to NICU and put on an a little machine in her nose to just give her a little oxygen and pressure to help her breath. They all are saying she's doing amazing for how little she is and how many weeks she is. We lucked out and got to hold her day two of her life because she did so well. I stayed at the hospital driving my nurses crazy for about two days before asking to be released home. Greg and I decided that I'm the worse patient in the world and hate hospitals. The kids were excited to have me home but a little confused on where their baby sister was. Were hoping in six to eight weeks if all goes well she can come home. So for now Greg and I are trying to drive down to San Diego a couple times a week to visit with Kaylee and be there for her. Thanks for every one's prayers and help with watching our kids, you are all life savers.

Napa Valley Getaway

So Greg is the best husband in the world. For my birthday/valentines day gift he booked us three day get away to the fancy resort called Kenwood. It was so nice and so beautiful. We got great service, nice outdoor hot tubs and complimentary wine (juice for us) and great food. But the best part was we had this awesome couple massage on top of the roof where we could open the windows and let the sun in and enjoy the nice weather while getting a massage. Then we got another massage the second day. I was in heaven. While you waited for your massage they had a room to wait in that had wine (juice), little cookies, chocolates, and dried fruit to eat anytime you wanted. Also one night I really wanted chocolate chip cookies so I called room service and twenty minutes later had a warm plate of cookies. I got to sleep in and just relax. We checked out the town and loved seeing the fancy shops, also checked out a winery and olive oil press company. It was so nice and green. The town was so proud how they grew all their own food in the town. So much history and culture in Napa. Thanks Greg's parents for watching the kids. Thanks Greg for the great get away.

Winter Wonderland

So we lucked out and were able to go back to Idaho in January and they have this awesome airline that you can fly straight to Idaho Falls which is the city right next to Rexburg. So now no more driving 14 hours to go see my family and the flight was cheap. I am in heaven. Bri loved her first flight and her and Sean did so well. I love Idaho for multiple reasons. 1- Get to see my family 2- The kids can go anywhere on the farm 3- The kids love playing with their cousins 4- I get to go skiing 5- Get to ride snowmobiles and go sledding. Every morning Sean would wake up early and want to run outside and play in the snow. He also had his first sleep over with his cousin Kyler and he did so well didn't even cry. I think I had a harder time than him. The funnest part is we got to take Sean down hill skiing. He did so well and had so much fun. We took him and his cousin Kyler and they both did so well at skiing. We took them on the bunny hill but Sean kept asking to go on the big hill. At one point Greg carried Sean up a little ways on one of the big hills and Sean snow plowed down like it was no big deal. Bri got to hang out with her cousin Kambrea, she even loved the snow. When we took her sledding behind the four wheeler you could see her shaking because she was so cold but she refused to go inside because she loved it so much. Bri also loved feeding the lama's, cows, and horses. They both wished they had a dog after we left. I think we may have to get one in the future. Thanks dad for letting us stay and helping us take Sean skiing. At the end of the trip it was really nice to come back to the really warm weather in California.

Halloween 2010

Sorry everyone I am so slow at blogging lately I cant seem to keep up. Well this year we had Halloween for almost a week but it was so fun. At the beginning of October we decorated the house for Halloween and the kids had a blast they even built a spooky house which turned out so well. The kids had a party at preschool where they all dressed up and played games and had little trick or treating. Then on Saturday all of us with my sister in law and her little girl went a really neat pumpkin patch. Where first we got a huge pumpkin almost as big as Sean, then we petted the animals, then we did a straw bail maze, Sean and me rode on a tractor around the pumpkin farm and last but not least the kids rode horses and they had so much fun. It so fun to watch how excited they get.

So after a long day at the pumpkin patch that night the kids got all dressed up as a fairy and GI Joe and we headed to the church trunk or treat. The best part was Greg's parents, brother, sister in law and baby Hailey came so it was fun to do the trick or treating with everyone. So we started with some great chili and then the kids did a costume parade, and last but not least the kids went car to car trick or treating it was so cute. Brianna got so much candy she was dragging her bag of candy at the end. Greg got all creative and carved four pumpkin and lite them up in the back of his truck and was apart of the trunk or treat. The pumpkins looked awesome.

Waterskiing and camping

So we have wanted to go water skiing forever but life has been so crazy that we just now made it out to water skiing but we had so much fun. This year we went up with Greg's dad, his friend and my friend from work came with her family(a little girl that's one and little boy that's three). So we all roughed it and camped out in tents and amazingly the kids did really well. The next day we all took turns wake boarding or water skiing and the kids did so well on their water ski's. Greg's dad has this awesome set up that looks like a jet ski but it helps teach the kids to water ski. As you can see the kids love it and do so well. Sean has got so adventurous that he even tries without hands and one time he tried moving outside the wave. I'm sad summer is almost done.

Summer Adventures

My kids are that great age that they do so well at the beach now. They both just go out and play in the water or build sand castles. Its so cute to watch them go up and make new friends and just start playing with other kids. Sean also took a liking to boogie boarding and does well at it. I love the beach.

For a week my friends two kids came and stayed with us. The kids had so much fun and loved having little friends all the time. We did alot of swimming and beach. The kids loved the beach. I also got to learn what it is like to have four children under the age five, all a year apart and drive a mini van. So one I give props out to Amber who is going to have four under the age four and say you are a saint its a lot of work. Also sorry I could never do the whole mini van thing, its just not me.

So one of our many adventures this summer was going up to Lake Arrowhead with Greg's family. My kids had a blast swimming, hiking in the mountains, feeding the ducks, and riding the go carts. The best part for me is Greg and kids went up alone for a couple of days and I got so much done by myself it was amazing, then Greg came home alone and we went out on a late night date cause we had no kids. So the kids stayed with his parents where Sean proceeded to get stung by a bee and was not happy, but had a blast with Nanny and Papa. I was able to pick them up and stay a couple of days and see baby Hailey who Bri loved and could not stop touching.

Brianna's 2nd Birthday!!

Brianna had such a fun birthday. We all went up to Greg's parents house where

his mom made a great little mermaid cake. She even found rocks that are made

out of chocolate. The best part was Bri got a dress up box with makeup and

dress up clothes she was so excited and kept putting on the lip balm all day.

Also she got some cute babies and coloring. We also went to magic mountain

for the day where the kids got to ride a bunch of rides.

Greg's 30th Birthday

Can you believe it Greg is now 30!! He wasn't so excited

about the big day so me and the kids decided to make it

something he would never forget. A good friend of mine

hooked me up and took Greg flying. He had so much fun.

Once they were in the air Greg took over and flew for about

an hour. He got to learn all the controls and how to fly.

He had a blast. After Greg got to fly Sean was so brave

and he went up with our friend Ikiaka took Sean up flying

all by himself. Sean loved it. He even took over the controls

for a little while up in the air.

Trip to the Farm

So the end of April we decided to be brave or crazy I would go more crazy and drive 14 hours to go see my family in Idaho. You see Greg will only drive straight threw so me and the kids slept and Greg toughed it out and drove the whole way. Its always so much fun to go to the farm. Now that Sean and Brianna are older they enjoyed the farm even more. I have never seen Sean go out and play by himself for so long and he would just run around feeding the animals and having adventures but was so content. They both ate so well and had so much fun and wore themselves out. I loved it. As soon as we got back home it went back to mom will you play with me and brianna'a appetite went back to not eating. So every summer I think Im going to ship them to the farm.

So here's Sean riding the Lama and loving it. He did so well.

These are Sean's favorite cousins, Kambrea and Kyler. They had so much fun together. Every time Sean would wake up he would ask for them. Even Bri started to ask for them.

Uncle Justin came for the weekend and the kids had fun hangin out with him when he was around. Justin is a busy man with his friends but the kids love him.

This is after Sean rode the four wheeler with his dad threw the mud he and Bri loved it. They loved getting dirty.

Even Bri did really well with riding the lama. She loved it.

The kids got to go roller skating with real roller skates. They had a blast trying to roller skate.

We went to this awesome indoor swimming place where they had this great kids area with tons of different swimming areas. So this is Sean going down the slide by himself he even went on a huge slide all by himself. Every time we got done going down the slide Bri and Sean wanted to go up again and just kept going up and up again.

Their so good at swimming under water.

Even in April there is still tons of snow. Right behind us are the tetons and they are beautiful moutains. We went on a bike ride even with the snow and got in a snow ball fight. The kids thought it was a blast to eat the snow too. Sean made a snow man and when we came back he was able to see that the snowman was still around.

Sean's 4th Birthday!!

So I cant believe Sean is already four before I know it he will be in the teens. He was so excited this year and was talking about his party two months before it even came. Of course he wanted a Batman party. I thought he would be out of that phase but its holding strong. It was so cute to see him with all his friends playing on the inflatable slides, jump houses, and obstacle courses. We had a great turn out. Even great friends came all the way from Orange county. After an hour and half of playing on the inflatable toys he went to his thrown to open presents and have cake. Greg's mom did a great job on the cake. We all had a blast. Happy Birthday Sean!! We love you.

Brianna was too small to go on the slides but she managed to sneak past the security people and had a blast on all the slides and bounce houses. Way to go Brianna.

Nana and Papa on the farm visiting

So the end of February my parents came out to visit.

The kids were so excited we have not seen them sinc

last summer when Brianna was a baby. The were so

cute because they call them Nana and Papa on the farm

because of course they live on a farm.

While they were here we got to go on the sprinter

train down to the beach and play in the sand.

Sean and papa built a cool sand castle. We also went to this

really neat children's museum which is the pictures

you see above and below. They had a huge tree you

could climb, they had puppet show room, and outside

they had a little hut you could play in, a place to build

things and an old fashioned school. The kids loved it.

So thanks Nana and Papa for coming to visit.

We all had a blast having you here. When we

were in San diego the other day Sean said

hey that's where we dropped nana and papa

off as we drove past the airport. He was already

missing you guys.

Sledding in California

Soyes it is true we do get some snow out here in California. I must admit its not good snow but its still snow. So imagine this drive we drive up in our t-shirts driving past dessert looking areas and then all of a sudden at the top of the hill we see snow. Since all the rain we got some snow up in the mountains. So we took the kids up to Lake Arrowhead and went sledding. It just worked out that Greg's parents and his sister and her boyfriend were staying up there. So we all went sledding on our two little sleds that we borrowed from a good friend. Sean thought it was great but Brianna was not so excited about it. I think we got her to sled like once. Sean had a blast and kept trying to sled but the snow was so hard it didn't work so well. So then he proceeded to start a snowball fight which then led into building a snowman. We ended the great day by going to burgers and milkshakes which of course we all loved. I do miss the real snow and wish I could go skiing but this will have to do for now.

Sean's 2nd Trip to the ER

On Saturday Sean was at his first Valentines Friend party when I got a call saying that he cut his eye and that he was bleeding a lot and that I needed to come get him. So I frantically scooped up Bri and ran out the door. When I got the the house the friend's mom told me that the bleeding had slowed down and that it happened when Sean was playing duck, duck, goose and hit his head on some furniture. Sean was still playing with all his friends and really didn't think anything of this huge cut above his left eye. In fact, they said that he didn't cry, or for that matter miss one step in his game when it happened- such a brave boy. The cut didn't look that bad, but I needed a second opinion so I took the kids to Greg who was at work.

When we got to the firehouse Greg took a look at it and said that it definitely needed a trip to the ER, so I packed up the kids again. Luckily my wonderful new friend here watched Bri while I took Sean to the ER. It was already late and I really didn't want to sit in an ER waiting room with my wounded little boy so I dropped the "My husbands a Firefighter" card. They got us right in and took great care of us. Sean walked away with 10 stitches above his left eye. He was so brave, through anesthesia, wound cleaning, and stitches he didn't even really cry. Now 6 days later Greg had to remove the stitches. Sean's eye looks good. It is still a little red and bruised but I'm sure it will heal just fine.

So today was one of those days that I wish I did not have to deal with kids and bodily fluids. So lately Brianna has been obsessed with sticking her hands into her diapers all the time, well lately she has even been sticking her hands down her diaper right after she poops. So today me and Greg went to the gym and put the kids into the childcare, well when I went to pick up Brianna I looked down at her out reached hands to find they had poop all over them, so I went to pick her up and found poop all over her pants. I was dying and it smelled so bad. I ran out quickly to the bathroom where I proceeded to strip her down and change her, so she got to walk out with no pants on because of course I had no extra clothes. So I thought that was enough for the day, well tonight at dinner we were trying to get Sean to eat some vegetable pizza but he was refusing. We thought we gave him a piece that had no onions(for some reason he hates onions and peppers), so Greg was going to give him a bite and he said he saw the little bit of onion but thought he'd been fine, and the next second Sean is gagging up his food and then the next minute he is pucking all over his pajamas and table. So now I know to never give onions to Sean and I'm going to buy oneies for Brianna so she has no access to the diaper. The joys of being parents.

Sweet Boy and Girl

So my children are the sweetest children ever. Last week me and Brianna got to spend some alone time together and we went shopping, and it was so cute because the first thing Bri did was find a glittery pink purse that went right to her wrist and then we tried on sunglasses together and she thought it was so funny to try on all the glasses, also while she had her glasses on she was dancing around. After that we headed up to try and on shoes and she kept trying on my shoes and helped me pick out some black dress shoes. Then of course we found her some shoes, and I learned that if you have her try on the shoes and she likes them she wont take them off, so I better plan on buying them if I try them on. I think she could of shopped all day but we had to go to the doctor but even in the car she was telling me a story all about her new shoes and about the purse. So cute. Also Brianna is talking like crazy and always trying to tell us stories.

Now for Sean he is just so sweet. Im going to give you a couple of examples of sweet and considerate he is. So last Sunday after I picked him up from Sunbeams I asked how his class was and he said it was fun. Then he said "mommy how was your class"as he stares at me like he is really concerned. " I great thanks for asking" he said "Im glad you had fun mommy". Seriously doesn't that just melt your heart. He'll even ask after I get home from work " Mommy how was work" I say "it was good" he says " oh good mommy." He's just so precious. I love to see how big he is getting and how much he understands.

Christmas 2009

This year Christmas was so much fun. The kids were so excited and all they could talk about was Santa and when he was going to come visit. Even Brianna was calling Santa HO HO. I loved watching them open their gifts and how excited they got. Sean was so cute because even when I was opening up stuff he would come over to see if I liked them. We celebrated with Greg's family and had such a good time. We hope you all had a merry christmas.

So the kids had a wonderful Christmas Party with their little friends and family from Preschool. It was so cute. They all got dressed up and we had some great food. Then the kids put on reindeer ears and sang some awesome christmas songs. It was fun to watch Sean singing the whole time and doing exactly what he's suppose to. Where Brianna was wondering around and always trying to be in the front, but did an excellent job of dancing and trying to sing. They were all so cute. They had Santa come and Santa gave them all a gift. Sean sat on Santa's lap but Brianna would only talk about HO HO but would not sit on his lap. Sean got a remote control car that he broke the next day(of course) and Brianna got a doll that is bigger than her. It was cute because for that next week she took it everywhere with her and just dragged her around. Christmas is so much fun with kids and to see how excited they get. I also threw in some pictures from the ward christmas party where they kids loved running around and dancing.

Catching up on November

Well I have been slacking and have not blogged forever. So I will try and catch you up on everything.

7. Ever since Thanksgiving Sean has been asking to decorate for Christmas so the first week of December we got out all the decorations and decorated the house. It was so cute to see both Brianna and Sean trying to help and put the ornaments on the tree. All Sean could talk about was Santa coming and what batman presents he's going to get. Also Bri has now learned how to say HO HO from us talking about Santa seeing all the decorations as we drive around. My kids love to go look at all the lights and decorations. I think this is Sean favorite holiday which is funny because its one of my favorites too. I just wish we could go see the snow but only for a few days and then back to luke warm California.

6. So after Thanksgiving we went up to visit Greg's parents where we got brave and took family pictures. It was fun and the kids did so well for how cold it was and windy it was. Here are some cute pictures we got and see how funny the kids were. At the end of the photo shoot they got to go ride some rides and six flags and they were in heaven, they love that place. It was so funny because we tired to have Brianna go on the train roller coaster with Sean but she screamed the whole way and only made it around once and then they had to let her off because she was making all the kids upset.

5. For Thanksgiving we did something totally new and went to the fire station for Thanksgiving. so Greg had to work Thanksgiving so all the families of the fire fighters met up at the fire station and had a huge feast and the kids got to run around, play in the fire truck and pretend to be fireman. They loved it after running around all day. It was so cute because Sean snuggled up in their big recliners with his blanket and watched a movie he loved it. Also i have never see Brianna be so outgoing and friendly and playing with the fireman, it was a fun new experience.

4. Going to the wild animal park and the San diego Zoo with friends and cousins. My friend Amber and her kids and my cousin Amber went to wild animal park and they have boys right around Sean and Brianna's age so they had a blast running around and playing with their friends. Bri kept up with the boys so well, she was the only little girl. Her favorite part was petting the animals. Then two days later my cousin from Utah came out with his family and we all went to the San Diego zoo where we got to see these awesome polar bears playing and swimming together. We love having people out to visit and playing with friends.

3. Still bike riding in october because it was so nice and warm in october and we were loving it. Sean does so good at riding his bike now and can keep up with us and even ride up hills and down hills by himself. Im amazed at how big he is getting. Brianna is talking so much her favorite word is "no" and she can say more, up, and food. It is so cute. She is so cute and fun.

2. I passed my big test so I am officially a diabetes educator(thanks greg for watching the kids so I can study) I am so impressed with mom's that go back to school while the kids are young.

Halloween 2009

Halloween was so much fun this year. Sean was old enough to decide what he wanted to do and Brianna was so cute trying to go up to people and ask for candy. She is starting to talk so much and it is so cute. She tries to copy her brother so much. I love to watch them. We went out friday night for a church trunk or treat and saturday we visited greg at the fire station, then we went trick or treating with some of are friends and they had a blast. This year we tried something new that my friend told me about so we let the kids pick out 10 candies and then the rest they put in a bag in their pumpkin and that night the switch witch came and brought them a new toy. So Sean was up at five in the morning looking for his gift, it was cute and totally forget about the candy. Thanks for the great idea.

Arizona Trip

So me and the kids packed up last weekend and headed out to Arizona to visit some of our friends. Sorry we couldn't see everyone. We had so much fun. I forget how hot it gets in Arizona, you guys are crazy that live out in Arizona I was dying. We had so much fun staying with Regan and Nate and their baby boy Winston. Brianna loved Winston and kept trying to play with the baby. Sean was in love with the puppies. Everyday he would go out and play with this one black puppy that was his favorite, it was so cute to watch. Regan had this awesome pool that was 1' 6" deep so Bri and Sean could both touch and just walk around. Even Brianna could walk the whole way around. It was so cute. The kids were even really good on the drive. Someone told me if you start them out young with driving long distance they get use to it and don't know any difference. I agree. Lately Sean has been asking where were going this weekend and wanted to pack up his toys to go visit someone. If you debated about driving somewhere with your kids get portable dvd player and try it, oh and bring actual wrapped presents that helps when they get restless.

Well with the move and new job (for Greg) things have been crazy busy, but we are still making time to have fun. We have been going to the beach, park, and even disneyland as much as possible. The kids are so cute. Its so fun to watch them now that Brianna is getting older and see how she tries so hard to keep up with Sean. Sean is the cutest older brother, he is always making sure that she is ok and watches out for her. They both go to a preschool together while I work and the teacher says Sean is so good with Brianna and always watching over her. Bri is all girl and loves to play with her dolls and even loves to pretend to feed the baby. I love to watch them play together. Here are some cute pictures of disneyland, the park, and the beach. Also all the friends we play with all have boys so Brianna is the only girl but she keeps up really well. Were loving the warm weather that were still having, the water feels so nice.

Brianna has gotten so big. I cant believe how well she is walking now. She seems so much older. Now that she can walk, if she falls she does not revert back to crawling she gets back up and takes off walking. She is getting so good at keeping up with Sean and she figured out how to dance. So when music comes on she will turn around in circles, it is cute. Also she will grab her princess dolls and one of Sean's superhero's and makes them dance together. I love it. She is all girl and so cute. I'm am learning how to do hair hopefully Ill get better. Also Brianna now goes to daycare with Sean and she loves playing with all the older kids. Sean is so good at watching over her and making sure she doesn't get hurt. He even tries to discipline her sometimes so I have to remind him that is mommy's job. But it is funny to watch him discipline her. I love my kids.

Lake Arrowhead

So two weeks ago we all got to go up to Lake Arrowhead and spend time with Greg's parents. It was so much fun and Sean did such a good job at swimming. Even miss Brianna was trying to walk down into the water and do hand over hand along the side of the pool. We also got to go play in the mountains and go on alot of adventures. The kids had so much fun playing with Nana and Papa. Brianna got really good at walking all around. We learned that when Bri grabs her shoes that means that she is ready go out and play. It was a blast

The Farm

So has anyone been to a farm. Well Ill tell you now it is any kids dream come true. It was so fun to watch Brianna and Sean get so excited about all the animals, the tractor, the four wheeler, and even the pretend surf board that the kids play on in the pond. Sean and his cousin who is two years older really got along really well this year. It was so cute to watch them play together I hope their friend when they get older. Everyday Sean would wake up asking for Kyler. Also I have never seen Brianna attach to someone so fast as my dad, and she even figured out how to say papa. Every time Bri would get excited she would bouncing and clapping her hands. So we went from playing at the water park, to riding the tractor, feeding the horse, riding the carousel going to West Yellowstone and going on a bike ride. Also going to an awesome little town parade. See the awesome picture of Sean collecting candy and shoving it in his pockets, they were full by the end of the day. Even Bri was trying to collect as much candy as she could. Greg flew out half way through the trip and it was so much fun to show him how the kids reacted to the farm. Then he was awesome and drove back with us. The drive back was the worst part because we drove straight threw and Brianna was over it at 1am and still in her high chair. Also while we were up there I got to hang out with my cousin Amber, grandma, my sister, and cousins. It was so fun to see everyone. Brianna did awesome walking. I'm so proud of her.

14 hour drive to Idaho

So call me crazy but last month I decided to pack up the kids and drive out to Idaho to visit my family and the farm. So I bought presents, took lots of movies, and tons of snacks to try and keep the kids distracted. So me and the kids drove first to St George and stayed the night where they had a blast playing with their cousins. Thanks Amber so letting us stay. Then we got up the next day and headed the next eight hours to Idaho. Amazingly the kids did really well me and Brianna got restless the last hour but Sean did great the whole way as long as I kept the presents coming. Overall worth the drive to see how much fun the kids had at the farm. Up next I will blog all about Idaho. So anyone debating about driving somewhere with your kids you can do it.

Brianna is walking

So she did it. I was starting to wonder. I thought she was starting to get content with just walking around holding our fingers until today. She was holding onto the table and just took off walking down the hallway. It was so cute. She just kept doing it all night. She was so excited. She's still nervous but I think after a few days she will be cruising all over the place. Also she has so much hair that today I put her into two pig tails. It was so cute. She's getting so big.

New House

So for those that did not know we have officially moved and so far we are loving it. I must say I cant believe how crowded we were in that little cute two bedroom condo. I am loving all the space and three bedrooms. But more than anything I am loving the backyard and garage. It is so nice. I can go outside and play with the kids and when I'm cooking I can see them outside the kitchen window and the backyard is fenced in so I don't have to worry about them running away. We are slowly meeting new people, the people in the neighborhood are really nice and quiet. Sean and Brianna are loving the new place and adjusted so well, I was so nervous but they did really well. Also we have this awesome toy room which I love so all the toys are not in my living room now. So anyone that is coming to San Diego, please come visit or stay because we have an extra bedroom now(Ya). So we are officially San Diego people. Our new address is 3423 Ricewood Drive Oceanside, Ca 92058. Our numbers are still the same. Thanks for the help from everyone, that helped us move.

Brianna's First Birthday!

Brianna is already one! Wow time flies. I cant believe it went by so fast. As you can see she is still tiny and has not grown much since I last blogged. No she is not walking yet, she is lazy and would rather hold your fingers and walk around with someone. She had a fun party at the park with balloons, pinata, food, and friends. She loved the cake and even tried hitting the pinata. She was so fun to watch. She was the little princess that got pushed around in her new little buggy she got for her birthday. Greg's mom was great and saved the cake. I had to buy a cake from Costco and the decorations on the cake looked horrible so thanks Nana for saving the cake and redecorating. Thanks for all the great friends and family. Brianna had fun playing with all the kids. We only had a few melt downs. At one point she started screaming and I thought to myself "It's my party and Ill cry if I want to." Happy First Birthday Brianna. We love you.

Swimming

So now that's it summer we decided its time to get out and do some sports. So two weeks ago we started Sean in swim lessons. Its so cute because he loves his teacher and is doing so well. You must remember that Sean would barely put his head in the water and now he's jumping right in and not afraid at all. Also he is learning how to do big arms and blow bubbles. Its so much fun to watch. Im glad we got to do this. Brianna has fun on the side lines playing with all the toys around the yard.

We are so proud of Greg. He just started a new job three months ago and he just got done with his evaluation shifts. So me and the kids got to go down and meet all the people he works with and meet some really great friends. It was so fun to watch him walk up while the Chief gave me the badge to pin on him. Sean was so excited to meet all the firemen and play in the fire truck. So he has one year left of probation then after that he's in for sure. We love you Greg, you will do great.

Soccer team

So two weeks ago we put Sean in a city Soccer team, just to get him out and running around. See if we can run off some of that energy. It's so fun to watch him. So far all they have done is learn how to stop the ball, pass it to each other, and kick it in the goal. They have three teams and Sean is the orange team called orange lions. This week we took team pictures so here's some pictures of his soccer team. Three of his friends also play, two of them play on the gray team and then our next door neighbor is on Sean's team. They are so cute.

So its Greg's big 29 birthday getting so old and wise. No he thinks he's old but he's still young. We had a celebration over three days. So Friday the kids gave Greg a present and then that night me and Greg went out to dinner and cruised around. Then Saturday he had to go to work so it didn't really count because no one knew it was his birthday. Then on Sunday Sean was so excited because we made Greg a cake and had gifts for him to open. It was all he talked about all day. So when we finally did eat cake Sean couldn't wait to sing and help him open gifts. You'll love this movie of Sean singing and Greg making a wish. Sean's 3rd Birthday

Well Sean has been talking about his birthday for the last month, he was so excited when it finally got here. He is one spoiled boy, but so cute. The birthday celebrations all started Thursday (the day before his birthday) he had cupcakes and a little party at preschool. His teacher made him a birthday sign and a special crown that he wore all day. Then on Friday (his actual birthday) he got to open his first gift which was a pirate island which he played with all day, then he had hamburgers and chips and his favorite diet soda, he thought the soda was the best thing in the world. On Saturday we took off to Valencia where we went to meet up with Greg's family. We all went to Six flags where Sean got to see Joker, Robin, and Green Lantern (his super hero friends), after that he got to go ride roller coasters and a bunch of other rides. After Six flags we went back to Greg's parents house where he got to eat his awesome super hero cake (that Greg's mom made) and open all the rest of his presents, he got tons of spider man toys and a batman cave (its this cave that opens up and the super hero's can fight the mean guys), its so fun to watch him play and pretend. Also he got two light sabers so him and Greg can fight each other. He got an awesome Green Goblin from my dad which is his favorite mean guy to fight and beat up. I cant believe how big he is and how much he has changed in the last year, he could barely talk last year and now he says full sentences and very observant. We love you Sean. Happy 3rd Birthday!!

Easter!!

Well we had a fun filled easter weekend. It all started Friday I took the kids with my friend Jillionnie to a petting zoo where they had bunnies at this time of year. The kids loved petting all the animals and Sean even got to go on train ride and ride a horse. Poor Brianna got bit by a bunny I think the bunny thought she had food so he tried eating her, she was not excited about that. On Saturday we went to a breakfast and egg hunt at church. It was so fun to see all the kids runny after the eggs and see who could get the most. Brianna had no idea what was going on, she just wanted to chew on the eggs. Then on Sunday we headed up to Greg's parents house where the kids got spoiled to death and had a blast. We did an egg hunt in their yard where Sean found most of them but Brianna crawled around pretending to help. They got a ton of fun toys and kites from nana and papa. That is what Sean calls his grandparents. Thanks guys for everything you do. Greg's mom also made an awesome easter egg cake and Greg made great homemade rolls that everyone loved. It's so fun to see the kids growing up. Brianna has such a personality. She loves to clap her hands and try waving to you. She stills thinks Sean is the funniest thing in the world. We had so much fun. Happy Easter!!

So last weekend my parents came out to visit and we all ended up going to a weeding in Los Angeles at the temple. It was so much fun. After the wedding we all went out to Santa Monica to play at the beach and found a really cool playground. The kids had a blast. Then on Saturday my parents got a hotel and we stayed there and swam. Sean was so excited to swim and have his own huge bed. He kept saying "I love this." That is his new phrase when he really likes something. Brianna is getting good at cruising around and putting everything in her mouth. She is so cute. She is like her brother and loves to play outside. Also when every she sees animals or we make the animal noises she laughs out loud. So cute. We tried out this hat that Greg's mom made and it looked so cute on her.

Well its been quit awhile since we have seen any grandparents everyone is so crazy busy its hard to get together anymore. So we were so excited when Greg's parents came down Saturday to spend the whole day with us and the kids. The night before Sean was like Nana and papa coming, he couldn't wait. Brianna was also excited and tried showing off how she can walk with her little walker. She is so fun to watch grow and do new things. Saturday morning we all went to breakfast at Sugar Shack and then walked around main street where they were having a car show of all these old cars, it was cool to see all those. Then me, Jennifer, Sean, and Brianna walked to the end of the pier where we all got to see a huge crab, Sean was so excited and kept wanting to go back and look at the crab. The rest of the day we just hung out at our house and then for dinner they London broil which was so good so we ate dinner and played a game. Of course the game didn't really work out due to the kids being crazy. Sean now thinks he knows how to play chess after watching that short film with the old guy so Sean was showing papa how to play chess. Its always fun hanging out with the family.

Well we all decided to get out and go on a nice run to the park and let the kids play for awhile. Me and Sean played like we were transformers saving a cat. Brianna had blast swinging and trying out the slide. When it came time to leave Brianna threw a fit cause she did not want to leave. It was so cute. The other day I went running and when I got back Sean said he wanted to go running, so Greg followed Sean as he took off running around the neighborhood, with his little headset so he could hear music. Greg said he went about a mile. When he got back he put his hands on his sides and was pretending to breath hard and he said "I'm sweaty" and wiped his brow. I was dying I couldn't stop laughing. I'm glad that he's learning that exercise is fun. They are both so cute and so much fun.

St George Utah

So this weekend we took off to St George, Utah to go visit my cousin and her kids. It was so much fun. We all had a blast. Sean loved running around with the two boys and Brianna discovered stairs, she figured out how to climb but could not get down. We went to this fun jump house that has all these air filled jumping house and then we went to a pirate arcade dinner. I wished we lived closer so we could all hang out more. Halle is their new baby girl and she was so cute and so mellow. The kids did great on the long drive so that gives us hope that maybe we can drive out to Idaho sometime.

9 Months Old

Well Brianna is already 9 months old. She is starting to look so much cuter. I will be the first to admit, those last couple of pictures she was looking funny. We are having so much fun with her. This last month she has started to coo alot more and loves to play patty cake and peak a boo. She is so cute and her laugh makes me laugh. She is getting her two top teeth and wants to eat big people food so much. As you all know its really hard for them to eat big people food until they get some opposing teeth so we cant wait. So as you can tell she is still really small. We took her to the doctor for her 9 month check up and for weight she is only 5% so Greg came home trying to think of ways to fatten her up, so far nothing is working. She seems against food lately for some reason. Brianna is doing so well at getting around and trying to keep up with her brother. She also loves to eat leaves so we really have to keep a close eye on her. She is so much fun and we love her so much.

They're Getting So Big!

Well we have really been slacking on keeping up on our blog. I'm so sorry. Life has been crazy. I have been working a lot more so by the time I get home I am so tired I don't want to do anything else, including bloging. Well Brianna has gotten so big and so adventures. As you can see from the pictures she has learned to pull herself up on everything and stand. She is very adventurous. She finds places that Sean never found and tries to crawl into every corner of the house that she can. She is so much fun. But she is still our little girl (literally, as you can see, she is wearing the firebear uniform from a build-a-bear!). Whenever she gets excited she starts flapping her hands around and usually ends up slapping us, but its so cute. I love watching her grow and explore and learn so many new things.

Sean got to go to preschool for a little while and was loving it. He would come home and sing the new songs he learned or show me the art project he made. Sean will definitely be my social butterfly he loves being out and meeting new people. We had a moment of "oh my goodness he's a big boy" with Sean the other day. We took Sean to get new clothes and he insisted on picking out his "own" clothes and then on top of that he wanted to pay for them (by himself) and then he wanted to carry all his bags. Then when we got home a boy from the neighborhood came over and asked him to come out and play but Sean was like "no I'm ok", until the boy asked him to come over to his house and play x-box. That seemed to change Sean's mind. He looked at his dad and said "I go play with my friend", so he headed across the street to play x-box with the 8yr old boys. And Early that morning he decided that he wanted to make his own pancakes. So Greg let him mix it together and supervise while Greg put it on the griddle. I cant believe how fast they grow up. Before I know it Brianna will be talking and walking around. We are having so much fun with the kids.

8 months old

Time flies by so fast. I can't believe she is already 8 months old. She is so much fun and keeps me on my toes. She loves to just watch and try to play with Sean as much as she can. She crawls so well and can get around the whole house so I have to be really well at making sure nothing small on the floor. That top picture makes her look bald, but she's just really blonde. I really need to put headbands on her. The red dress was a present from Greg's grandma. Brianna was not happy with me about dressing her up. Since I have been working more the bows have gone away but hey at least Greg is good about dressing her up, especially in dresses. She is beautiful.

Disneyland

Well one of the greatest things about living in California is annual passes to Disneyland for super cheap. We lucked out and got passes to Disneyland so now on my days off we go as a family and hang out at Disneyland. Sean and Brianna love it and have so much fun. Brianna just loves to watch everything and Sean just loves all the different rides. His favorite ride is the roller coaster. Oh i have to tell you all that Greg tried to be super dad and take both kids by himself to Disneyland one day while I was at work. It just turned out bad and he swore not to do that again without help. I was impressed that he tried.

Preschool

Well its time for school. We got Sean into a new preschool in a lady's home where she turned part of her house into a preschool and she is great with the kids and Sean has learned so much so far. He even got to go out and get a backpack for his new school. He was so excited and loves going. He is getting so good at his alphabet and numbers. He's growing up so fast.

Christmas 2008

This christmas was so much fun. It was so cute to see how excited the kids got. Sean wanted to open all the presents for everyone. Brianna wasn't so sure what to think about it all, but she had fun. The kids loved all the toys. Brianna got lots of dolls and she is not sure what to think of them. She much rather play with Sean's toys. So this year we had our own christmas at our house. So Christmas Eve we had dinner with Greg's parents and sister at our house and read the Christmas story and open one present. It was fun to hang out with everyone. On Christmas day we opened gifts as a family and then packed up and headed to Valencia to spend time with Greg's family. We had so much fun the day after Christmas opening gifts with his family and of course celebrating my birthday. So now I am the big 29, time flies by. Greg's dad gave all the boys nerf guns and they had so much shooting each other and running around. It was so fun to watch. I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

7 months

So I say this every time but time flies by. So I was starting to worry because all Brianna's friends were starting to crawl and move all over and little miss lazy would turn over ever once in awhile. So I shouldn't have had this thought because the next week she figured out how to do the worm and move around quite well. She also gets up on all four and sits in one spot buts tries to rock back and forth. She is so cute. We are having so much fun with little Brianna. Lately Sean has been loving to feed Brianna and she thinks it is so much fun. I am amazed how much Brianna adores Sean. She has a little exer saucer that she can stand in and turn around so now she just keeps turning so she can watch Sean wherever he goes. Kids are so much fun and so cute. Decorating for Christmas

Well after Thanksgiving as you all know they start showing all the christmas movies on tv so Sean has been asking alot of questions about christmas and Santa. It is so cute. I can't believe how excited he. To bad he can't understand that it wont be here for a couple more weeks. So once December came we got out all the christmas decorations and decorated outside and inside. Sean watched while Greg climbed on the roof and hung lights and then later that night we ate cookies and decorated the tree. Sean was so good and soft with the ornaments, he managed to put up about half of them of course all at his level and not break one. I was so impressed. Every night we have been reading christmas stories and talking about leaving Santa cookies and how we have to be a good boy to get presents. I decided no more taking Sean to go shopping with me, he almost told Greg what I got him for Christmas. Brianna just loves to watch Sean and how excited he gets about all the christmas stuff. Thanksgiving!!

I can't believe Thanksgiving already came and went. I know Im so super slow on blogging but I really wanted to put up these cute pictures of Thanksgiving. We all went up to Greg's parents house and just hung out and ate lots of food. This year Greg did the turkey and he did something called brimming. It turned out really good, I was a big fan. The kids had a blast running around and playing with the grandparents. Me and Greg got a nice little break while we were up there. I was crazy and decided to get up at 6am and going shopping on Friday the day after Thanksgiving. I cant how crazy people are and how many people are out so early in the morning. I found a few good deals but decided it wasn't worth the trouble unless I went right when the store opens. I am so thankful for family, a job, a beautiful home, wonderful kids and husband. I need to sit down everyday and remember all the things I have been given. As you all know Sean got burned a month ago and as you can see the pictures he is almost all the way healed. It's amazing how fast kids heal, they are so tough. Brianna is growing like crazy and finally figured out how to move all around by rolling, or moving in a circle on her belly she's so cute.

Pony, trains, and zoo animals

So lately Sean has been getting stir crazy because he has not been able to go to the park or play with to many kids at once due to his burns. So today we decided to take all the kids to Irvine park where they have trains, ponies that you can ride, and a little zoo. It is one of our favorite parks. So first we went and saw the animals and Sean loved the Bears and goats, he even got to feed the goats. We saw a jaguar and Sean said that's Diego's friend. It was so cute. The best was watching Sean ride the horse, he was having so much fun. I kept trying to get the horse to go faster but all he wanted to do was walk really slow. We had a blast. Brianna was a good girl and hung out in the stroller, it will be fun when she can run around and understand all the things she is seeing. We had fun watching the Sean run around and get so excited about the train, ponies, and zoo. Sean has been doing so well with potty training. I love not changing diapers. All you that are afraid like I was to potty train just go for it, it's so worth the first two weeks of frustration. We have even worked our way up to teaching him how to stand and go pee pee. Which is so funny for me to watch. Sean loves to play shot the cheerios in the potty.

6 Months Old

It crazy how fast time flies by. I can't believe that Brianna is already 6 months old. I was starting to wonder if she was ever going to really move or even try to sit up. She is sort of lazy. Also her new nickname is Drama Queen. Every time we walk away from her she starts to cry and sometimes when your sitting close by her but not talking to her or playing with her, she will start to cry, but she has the cutest laugh in the world. Well in the last couple of weeks she has figured out how to sit up (sort of by herself), squirm in a circle on her belly, sit up out of her chair, eat little graduate puffs, eat baby fruits and vegetables. She is so funny if she sees her bottle she starts to make this squeaking noise and squirming to try and get her bottle. We are loving her and her drama.

Cleaning!!

So this last week Greg had some time off and decided to be nice and clean the house for me. Sean was so interested in what Greg was doing that he insisted on helping. It was so cute to see the two of them cleaning the whole house. I loved watching them. I am so thankful for the great boys in my life. They both are so sweet and try to help out so much. I am also so thankful for my beautiful baby girl and great family. I hope when Sean grows up he'll know how to cook, clean, and fix things that would be so nice when he's old enough to get married.

Disneyland 2008

Well I finally decided to buy a Disneyland annual pass since Sean is only free for 6 more months. So last week I had some friends come visit from Arizona and we all went to Disneyland for the day and the kids had so much fun. Sean loved all the rides and all day he kept asking to go see Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse so he was so excited to meet Mickey mouse. I think so far his favorite ride is the little roller coaster in toon town. Leave it to Greg's son to be in love with roller coasters like his dad, given why Sean loves going to visit grandma and grandpa because he always gets to go to six flags and ride all the kid roller coasters. Also while we were watching the parade Sean was jumping up and down because he got to see all the characters that he watches on is movies, the only one he didn't know was Alice in Wonderland. The joys of living in California. The other best part about my friends visiting is that they have two older girls that are seven and four. Well Sean and the oldest had the hardest time getting along. I think because they are both stubborn and the oldest they couldn't seem to share anything and were always annoyed with each other. Now when the seven year old wasn't around Sean and the four year old got along great. It was so funny to watch.

Sean's First ER visit

Well me and Greg always knew that Sean would have many trips to the ER but I was hoping it wouldn't be for awhile. Well before I start the story I admit that it is all my fault I thought Sean could not get into a Thermos but I was wrong. So we were over at our friends house for FHE and Greg and BJ were drinking this south American drink that you slowly add a little more hot water to this mug and sip on it. So the Thermos was sitting in the middle of the room when Sean got a hold of it. I looked back to see Sean trying to get out of the chair and throwing the Thermos up over his shoulder and low and behold he starts screaming. So luckily Greg was there and picked him while we took off his shirt and starting running cold water over his shoulder and Sean is screaming and crying. Well of course he started to get blisters and we could tell right away this was serious, so we packed up the kids and drove straight to the ER. We got into the ER right away where we sat for a couple of hours. Sean was fine as long as you did not touch his burn but if you came close he started to cry. I must say this boy has a high pain tolerance. I would of been screaming the whole time. So because we love drugs we got him some Morphine which was a shot and I think that hurt more than them cleaning up his burn and putting a dressing on it. So we went and saw the burn doctor the next day where she proceeded to tell me I have to now be my child's own burn nurse, which entails 1-soaking his shoulder for 10 mins 2- scrubbing his shoulder 3-putting medicine on it 4- re bandage the burn. Or my other choice was to have him go to surgery and be put under and they would clean it and put cavader skin over his burn. Well luckily for me Sean has an amazing pain tolerance and did really well on the first day of me and Greg trying to be burn nurses. So we will continue this for the next week and then hopefully go back and have the doctor tell us it looks great and healing well. So keep Sean in your prayers. The burn is from his right nipple up to the top of his shoulder. Sean got a bear at the ER which has helped us to show him what were going to be doing to him, so now its his best friend. We call Sean's bandages his batman shield which is a life saver when were trying to put the bandages back on. I hope you enjoy the pictures of his shield.

Halloween!!

Well happy Halloween. I cant believe it is already Halloween, it seems like it was just summer. Well things have been crazy busy and I have been trying to potty train Sean lately and that is whole other challenge in of itself. Anyone that says its not that bad I disagree. It's frustrating that they do so well then the next day have like three accidents. So if anyone has advice let me know. Well this year for Halloween we took the kids down town to go trick or treating on Main street. Every year they block off the street and let the kids trick or treat at the stores and then they have bounce houses, animals to pet, and the police man and fireman are there handing out candy. Sean was loving the bounce houses, which is nice cause then he didn't do much trick or treating. Brianna just chilled in the stroller. She was a cute ladybug and Sean was an awesome Batman. After going downtown we went to our ward trunk or treat where people decorate their cars and go trick or treat car to car. Sean had so much fun with his little friend Kate. I think they really like each other. When we got home Sean went trick or treating to our neighbors and was loving to say "trick or treat." They grow up so fast its crazy. I am excited for Christmas I love to decorate for Christmas. Well Happy Halloween to everyone.

Huntington Beach Fire Department

Most of the time we blog about our darling children, but not today! Its Greg's turn in the spotlight. For all of you that don't know already, Greg recently realized his long time goal of working as a firefighter for the city of Huntington Beach Fire Department. He has wanted this position for at least 5 years and has been active in the application process for the past 2. After 2 applications, one for firefighter and the other for firefighter/paramedic, a captain's interview, a physical agility test, a paramedic skills test, a background investigation, a chief's interview, a physcological evaluation, a polygraph exam, and a medical exam its finally done! Whew!! Everyone is sooo excited. We get to see him more because he dosen't have to commute 220 miles to work(no really, it was 220 miles to work). He is loving it because it truly is a great department with awesome people. Now whenever we want we get to go to the fire house for a private tour or see daddy riding down the street in the big red fire engine, how cool! Now we just hope that Sean dosen't do something to make daddy respond to our house on duty.

So are they not the cutest kids in the world. So if anyone knows me I hate to go get professional pictures because I think it takes forever, expensive, and my kids are never good for the pictures. Well I decided to try again now that Sean is older and now that we have Brianna. So I made Greg come with me because I knew I would need help, which I did. So it started out good where Sean was all excited and wanted to pose and everytime we would say Batman or Superman he gave us an awesome smile like you see above by himself, but everytime we would say cheese he would give that funny smile you see with him and Brianna. Well after five minutes Sean was bored and Brianna was being all fussy because she did not have her nap yet even though I tried before we got there. Well luckily after some fighting we got a few really cute pictures. I wish I had a better one of the two of them together. Brianna did pretty well for her individual pose, I love her smile. She has the cutest laugh esp when she is laughing at Sean. I can't believe how interested she is in Sean. The older Sean gets I think the more he looks like me and Brianna I think looks a ton like Greg, it will be neat to see what they look like as teenagers.

Future Firefighter

Well this weekend was the open house for Huntington beach fire department so of course we took Sean and Brianna to see the fire trucks. Sean loved it. He was not shy at all, he was climbing all over the fire trucks and even managed to hit the button to make the loud horn go off. We invited his friends Luke, Penny, and Saxon. He loved running around with all of them and looking at all the fun fire stuff and even go on a tour of where Greg is currently working. We love fire fighters.

Play time

So we have this fun mat that has lights, toys, and music that plays above the babies head. Also it is low enough that she can grab for the toys. Brianna loves to play with this toy and try grab for the toys. She is such a good little girl. Also she loves to sit on the couch while she watches Sean, she is so amazed by him and what he can do. I hope their good friends when they get older. This weekend Greg's parents were great and came down to visit and spend time with all of us. We had fun. We went the beach, went to Bella Terra (an outdoor mall) where we got dinner and then watched Sean run around with a bunch of girls that he found playing wring around the rosy, and Sean got some Pow Pow time in with his Papa. Sean and Brianna love spending time with their grandparents. It is also a nice little break for us too.

Waterskiing

Now that Sean is getting so big we are having so much fun doing new things or having even more fun with him. We have taken Sean waterskiing before but this time was so much more fun because he was so excited about everything. He was great at holding the flag to pulling in the rope. Also he tried out the tube with me and Greg he was having a blast, I was the one who was more scared Sean was smiling and laughing. Thanks to Greg's dad for taking us out waterskiing. We cant wait till next summer when Brianna can join us on the boat.

2008 Events!!

So we have had a crazy but fun year so far. We added Brianna to our family, we took a trip to Idaho and Utah, we went to lake arrowhead, we bought a new fridge, went to the park, Greg got hired on at Huntington Beach fire department as firefighter/paramedic (which has been his dream job for the last four years),went swimming a lot, went boating, saw wicked, and took Sean to meet the superheros at magic mountain(he was so excited he could barely talk and then once batman walked away Sean was like "mommy batman has ears and a cape). It's so fun to watch Sean and Brianna grow up and see how much they are learning. The pictures above are from our trip to Lake arrowhead which as you can see we had a ton of fun. Sean loved swimming with us and riding the go karts with us and his grandparents.

Brianna is now 4 months old and talking way more than Sean every did, I don't think Sean started to say anything until he was like 6 months old. She is also laughing out loud and it is so cute. On Wednesday we took her to get her ears pierced and I felt so bad, she was so mad, I had to leave and let Greg hold her cause I felt so bad. After it was over she was fine, she doesn't even notice them. Also she got a bracelet from her aunt Rachel so now she is all dolled up. It's so fun dressing up girls, but I sure do love rough housing with Sean. Also Brianna loves to just sit and watch her brother or anyone around, her favorite thing to do is to be held while watching people. It's amazing she's our first baby that we can take to the movies and she just sits there or sleeps its so fun. Right now she just wants something in her mouth at all times cause she is working on her teething. When she went to the doctor she only weighed 12 lbs and is in the 25% for weight and height, unlike Sean who is still in the 90% for weight and 75% for height. I guess its better she's small and not Sean. Brianna is our little peanut.

They grow up so fast!!

Well its so crazy how fast your kids grow up. It seems like just yesterday

Sean was just figuring out how to walk. Now he is running around, climbing,

and jumping. I love to see how his imagination has taken off and how is so interested

in everything. His new thing is to say for about everything he says "mommy what's that"

and he'll keep saying it until I say back to him "Hey Sean what's that." I love this

stage. Also he has made good friends with all the neighbor boys. They are all around eight

to twelve but they love Sean and every time they see him they are saying hi and asking

Sean to give them high five. So the other day one of the boys was riding this new bike

he got and wanted to to take Sean on a ride and of course Sean loved trying to be just

like the big boys. Tonight Sean found Greg's hat from Columbia and so he decided to put

it on with his sunglasses and he said "mom I'm Dora" so this is Sean pretending to dress

up as Dora. I love this age right now. Lately Sean as turned into shy boy if he hasn't seen

someone lately he gets all shy and tries to hide from people, its so funny to watch. His

preschool teacher says he's doing great on his numbers and letters. His favorite song

right now is "ity's bity's spider" with hand actions.

Brianna is 4 months old tomorrow and has changed so much. I used to think people

were making up stories when they said girls were so much different than boys but I

believe them. Brianna loves to be loved and held, where Sean not really, also she has

already started to coo and babble and even laugh, where Sean didn't talk until he was

like 6 months old. Also she always wants to be involved and watch everything that

is going on. We have had so much fun with her and she is such a good baby. Overall

she is mellow and loves to just be involved. Everyday people say how much she looks

like Sean and i must agree expect she has some red in her hair and I don't think she'll

be as tan as Sean. I am loving having a little girl and making her all girl. I have now learned

how to make headbands to go in her hair, paint toenails as she is kicking, and put on lots

of cute dresses. I can't wait until we can go shopping for dolls and jewelery it will be so

much fun.

5 Year Anniversary

Can you believe it me and Greg have been married five years already, its just crazy to think. I love being married and it is so much fun. Greg is the best husband and friend in the whole world. I don't know what I would do without him. Well I had big plans for us to go on a cruise for our five year anniversary but after having Brianna and with Greg being super busy at work this summer, my three months I had off of work came and went away so I wasn't able to get off more than four days in order for us to go some where so we decided to take a trip to Malibu and pretend we are rich for a couple of days.

So we found a house to rent right on the beach in Malibu

that was beautiful and so nice. As you can see from the pictures the house sat right on the water and the waves would come crashing up right on the house. So we enjoyed eating dinner on the porch and listening to the waves all night while we slept.

Our first day we tried surfing but didn't realize their beaches are rocky so I could barely walk out to get on the board and then after cutting up my feet I gave up and came in. Then I made Greg drive south for awhile and tried to find another beach to try surfing. Well I came to realize I need some surf lessons. So you good surfers next summer I need lessons it has been like two years since I surfed so now I forget how to surf. We also went out to eat to really good sushi place, watched some movies and just relaxed and hung out. Greg's parents were nice enough to watch the kids and they had alot of fun with the grandparents. The second day we rented a Kayak and took it out in the ocean. I tried to take pictures of all the neat things we saw but none of the pictures came out but this one of us trying to paddle. So while we were in the Kayak we saw 1- family of dolphins(that swam right past us) 2- a green balloon 3- a sailboat 4- a airplane that came right above us 5- sea lions 6- surfers. It was fun to just hang out and talk. Luckily Greg was a good sport and did most of the paddling. The last night we were there we went down to Santa Monica third street and walked around and just talked. We saw this crazy dog that could stand on a skateboard without falling off.

So as you all know since the day Brianna has come home from the hospital Sean has loved and watched over Brianna from day one. I was so worried when I got pregnant again that when she came out that Sean would hit her or bite or any kind of abuse or even just ignore her. He did the complete opposite, he is always trying to give her hugs or kisses and loves. Some days he'll even try to feed her a bottle or give her the binky when she is crying. The other day Sean kept saying "mommy Sean hold baby" of course I was busy feeding her or doing something so I came out to find Sean trying to pick up baby and hold her. So we had to go over not picking her up only mommy could pick her up. Then of course I let him hold her and he was so excited. Brianna has started to laugh and smile alot and even coos. So Sean gets so excited when he does something and she smiles or laughs at him. He thinks it is the best thing in the world. I thought she would of wore off being fun already, but no. I hope their great friends growing up. They will probably fight alot too like any other siblings. I can't believe how fast it goes by. Everyday I am amazed at the new things Sean is learning and the things he says. His newest thing is he says "mommy I hear that" so on top of being observant he hears things very well. Most of the time he can identify what he is hearing. It's so cute.

Already 3 months old

Man time goes by so fast. I cant believe she is already 3 months old. She is so good at smiling and some cooing. Also she has great head strength. We have started to use the mat that has toys hanging above it and the bouncy chair with fishes she can look at. She loves these toys especially when Sean comes and helps her play with them. Last week Sean helped me buy her a new toy and it is so cute to watch him try and show her how it works and even sometimes in the car he will ask for his toy cause he wants to make the toy make music for his sister. He loves her so much. I always catch Brianna watching Sean and smiling at him, it is so cute. Brianna's hair is starting to turn red and then has some blond highlights in it. I think she'll be red like Greg and then when she's older she'll turn blond like Greg. I think Sean will be brown like me. Either way their adorable. The picture of Brianna in her crib was Sean's doing, he wanted to share all his stuffed animals with sister and as you can see she loved it.

My cousin Cade's wedding

This weekend the whole family got in the car and endured a six hour drive to St George. I must admit the drive out was not bad but the drive back on Sunday was horrible and we sat in a ton of traffic with all the people coming home from Vegas after losing all their money. Anyways we had so much fun. Cade is one of my younger cousins and brother to my cousin Amber that I love to death and always have love to hang out with her. This is the Archibald side and we are all really loud and have so much fun when we get together. Its crazy cause were all pretty much married and have kids, it really starts to make me feel old. We got the privilege to go to the temple and see them be sealed. It was so neat and such a good feeling in the temple. It brought back so many good memories of when me and Greg got married. Did you know we are going on five years in October. That just seems crazy to me. Brianna was great the whole weekend and was loving being held. Sean loved playing with all his boy cousins and cause ruckus. I got to dance with Sean at the reception and he was so cute. I cant believe how big he is and how much he understands, it is so cute. Also Brianna got to wear her blessing dress again which is so much fun and again reminds me so much of my wedding day. I am so excited for Cade and Sierra they will be great together and I'm excited for Sierra to join our family.

Brianna's Blessing

So last weekend a great thing happened. Brianna was blessed by her dad with both of her grandpa's there helping out. It was so neat to see such a sweet little girl receive such a great blessing. Also I really enjoyed it, because she got to wear her first wedding dress. Well actually she got to wear my wedding dress. I decided awhile ago if I ever had a baby girl I would have her blessing dress made out of my wedding dress. So luckily for me my sweet little girl came and I got to make my dress into a blessing dress for her. It turned out beautiful and it brought back so many great memories of that special day. So now every time I see her dress or the pictures I can remember her special day and my special day. My family came in from Idaho and hung out with us for the weekend and we got to go see Wicked, which was great. Sean was loving having both papa's to play with. It was so much fun having my family here. So since everyone was here and this is Brianna's first wedding dress we were silly and took a bunch of pictures with both sides of the family. You'll see we were having way too much fun. I hope you love her dress as much as I do. Here's some more pictures of my parents having down time with both kids.

Beach memories

Well since it has been really nice lately and we bought a state beach pass we have decided to take advantage of my time off and go to the beach as much as possible. It's not as often as we would like since we have little Brianna but we are going as much as can be done. So this last week we got two good trips in. On Friday we went to the state beach but ended up not getting too much beach time due to Sean falling asleep early in the car. We went out at noon to set up table by fire pits for the ward party that night then Sean ended falling asleep so we headed home to get him a good nap but of course as soon as I got him home we was wide awake. So we tried again and this time we succeeded. So we started are day out just relaxing by the beach and playing in the sand and water with Sean while we took turns holding Brianna and keeping her covered because I was the smart one that forget her hat and baby Bjorn. On top of all that Greg brought his boards along to get there and find out no surfing was allowed. So the day at the beach ended up being poorly executed but still fun. That night we had our ward beach party where we roasted hot dogs and then had wonderful smores. Also we had a great sand castle contest that Sean kept trying to destroys the Parker boys sand castle. We had a great time and ended staying almost to the end. Surprisingly Brianna did great and slept most of the time. Then the next day on Saturday Greg headed back to work and me and the kids headed to the harbor beach for a birthday party of one of Sean's friends. I have never seen so many fun toys for the kids to play on in the water. Sean was in heaven. Now you see the party was at noon so I thought we would go for two hours then go home and take naps, well that didn't happen we ended up skipping the nap and staying till four or five but as you can see from the pictures Sean was in heaven going from the trampoline in the water, to riding the boggy board or surf board, to getting a ride on the little sail boat and paddle boat. Oh I forget to mention the whole time we were there Sean was running around with girls didn't even bother to really play with the boys. He mainly chased after little Kate that is in our ward, she's the cute little redhead, which means trouble. But for some reason since we went to visit them at their house a few weeks ago they inseparable when they are together. Sean kept sitting with her in her little chair at the ward beach party and chasing her around at the beach. Kate's dad says he's never seen her be so daring and try so many new things since she met Sean, their match made in heaven. Last but not least when Sean was being pulled around on the surf board he was trying to paddle while he laid there it was so cute. Also Brianna got a new bathing suit that I love. We are loving the nice weather and the beach, anyone can come visit and join us.
