Blowing out the candles

I know I already talked forever about the birthday party but I had to put this cute movie of Sean blowing out the candles, you will love it.

Sean's Birthday party!!

So we decided to try and drag Sean's birthday out as long we could and celebrate it as much as we could. So on Saturday we had a little party for Sean where Greg's parents came and his sister and his brother and wife Jenny. We had so much fun just hanging out and eating some good hamburgers and special spicy Hawaiian hot dogs that Greg made. Greg's mom made the cutest cake in the world and of course Sean loved eating it. The little character's on the cake ya his mom made those. She's awesome. Also Sean got spoiled I felt like it was Christmas all over again. He loved all the gifts. He got his first skateboard and helmet. After the party he went out with his Aunt to try out his new skateboard. His new thing is he got to go to Wal-mart on Friday and pick out his own gift with the gift card he got from grandpa Archibald. So he was in heaven. He went up and down every aile pulling toys out and lining them up trying to decide which one he wanted. By the end he picked out a Diego toy that has a helicopter, he loved it so much he even had to take it to bed with him and woke up at 2am wanting to play with the toy. I cant believe how big he is and how much he understands. He is so much fun and always keeps me on my toes. He talking like crazy and even trying to tell stories, it is so cute. Hope you enjoy the pictures of Sean's party.

Sean's 2nd Birthday!!

I can't believe he is turning two. I have thought he is two for the last three months. He just acts so much older and understands so much I kept thinking he was already two. So to start his day off Sean started his first day of preschool/daycare. It's this cute little place across the street from where I work. So they have a big play ground and tons of toys and also they do lessons and activities. He did really well until he saw me walking away and then he started crying and throwing a fit. I felt so bad. I went back to try and comfort him and explain to him that he was going to play and make new friends. To make it even worse me being 8months pregnant and all my hormones, I started to cry too. Then these cute little four year old boys came over to Sean and were like it's ok budding don't cry she'll come back come smash the bugs with us. So they went and made him a sword out of blocks and distracted him with smashing bugs while I sneaked away. When I got to work and had a good cry I could look out the window and see Sean being pushed around on a tricycle by this older girl and looked like he was having tons of fun. When I went to pick him up at the end of the day he was so happy and showed me to all his new friends. I really think he'll do well here. So the night of his birthday my friend called and said she had free tickets to the Angels game so we ate dinner and headed out to a baseball game. We had so much fun. Sean ran around and barely watched the game but had tons of fun playing with Styrofoam and riping it up and putting it all over himself. Everyone thought it was so funny. I think Sean had a great birthday. Happy birthday Sean !!

Haircut Time

So now that we are heading into summer and it is starting to get warm here we decided that it was about time to cut Sean's hair. The fact that Sean kept trying to push the hair out of his eyes was a big clue that it was time to cut his hair. It's amazing because his first hair cut was almost a year ago. Man time goes by fast. I was a bad mom and forget the camera for the actual haircut, but I got some after pictures. Sean was such a big boy. We took him to a kid haircutting place so they had toys everywhere and only cut kids hair. So he sat in the chair by himself up on pillows and sat there and played with the toys the whole time she cut his hair. He was such a good boy and never threw a fit. After words they gave him a balloon which made his day. To add on to that we promised Sean he could go spend his one dollar and get a toy if he was a good boy. So we all went to target where Sean bought a bag of little plastic bugs. He was loving making the bugs fly around and fight with each other. His word for pretend fighting is "PO PO" its so cute, he'll make fist and pretend like he's fighting. He's getting so big.

St George, Utah

Well the fat 8 month pregnant lady decided to be daring and take a trip out to St George, UT to visit my favorite cousin and also to see my grandma from Idaho and my aunt and uncle. It was so much fun to spend time with my cousin Amber and Sean loved Amber's twin boys who are about 9 months older Sean. Sean would wake up every morning saying boys, boys and go looking for the two boys. Then he would go over and try and grab their hands and make them play with them. The more I watch Sean he is 1-really social 2-Not shy at all 3- Not afraid of anything 4- Very tough, he falls so much but he just jumps up and acts like nothing happened. Sean did great on the five hour drive, of course due to the portable DVD player I borrowed from my friend. Only twice to complain and say "out mommy out." I love spending time with my family I wish they lived closer. Oh ya my grandma brought me some cute blankets she made for the new baby girl and of course Sean thought they were for him and loved them, even though they were pink.
