Imagination !!

So in the last couple of weeks it is amazing how much Sean has changed. On one end he is alot more stubborn and throws fits no matter what I try to tell him, his new favorite word is "NO" and man does he use it all the time. I guess this is God's way of teaching me patience. On the other end his imagination is amazing. He's new favorite thing is to take either his stuffed puppy or bear everywhere he goes. He will take them on a bike ride or in the car, going to bed, and he even likes to feed them. It is so cute, they are his new little friends and he has so much fun with them. Also he has learned how to admire himself, he loves to look at pictures of him and also to look at himself in the mirror. The other day I caught him looking through his baby album and getting so excited everytime he saw a picture of himself. On the sadder side he is starting to realize when we are gone. It notices it more when Greg is gone cause Greg is gone for two to three days straight. He'll go to the door saying Da Da Da, and when I try to explain that he is at work he gets really sad or upset. Someday hopefully Sean will understand. Sean has learned how to say "I love you" it is so cute. He mainly says it when he's talking to Greg on the phone while Gregs at work, but it just melts my heart. Kids are amazing.

FISHES

So it has been raining the last week here in California and man I never realized how stir crazy Sean gets when he doesn't get to go outside at least for a little while everyday. (He reminds me of myself) So me and Greg decided that he was finally old enough to go to the Pacific Coast aquarium. So on Saturday we packed up and took off to Long Beach to go to the aquarium. I was a little worried that Sean might not fully enjoy this, but man was I wrong. He was in heaven. Every five seconds out of his mouth would be "fishes, fishes" as he would run from one fish display to another display. He was in fish heaven. They even had an aquarium full of Nemo fishes and Dory fishes. I think he stood there for about five minutes just jumping up and down and running around trying to say Nemo. But I think his favorite part of the whole day was when he got to go outside and put his hand in a pond of water that had sharks and other fishes swimming around that he could touch. He loved it, he kept trying to grab the fishes, so we had to keep a close eye on him to make sure he just petted the fish. They also had a fun boat and fish that the kids could play on and climb on, the fish even squirrted water out. I was defiently tired by the end, but I can't wait to go back with him again.

Playing in the Rain

So this last week it has been raining like crazy and Sean has been locked up in the house trying to avoid getting sick. Well finally the other day Sean got so sick of being in the house me and greg decided to bundle him up and let him go out and play in the rain. It was the funniest thing to watch. He loved it. At first he rode his tricycle (or "bike" as he calls it) around in the puddles loving that the water splashed all over him. Next he decided to run through the puddles and splash the water everywhere. One time as he was running through the puddle he tripped and fell face first into the puddle. He didn't even cry or whine he got up laughing and continue to run threw the water. Given by the end of this outing he was soaked head to toe and grinning as wide as he could. It so fun to see how innocent children are and how the enjoy everything.

Its a Girl!!

Well for those we haven't been able to get a hold of yet, I want you all to know that we just found out that we are having a baby girl. I had a gut feeling that was what we were having, but I was in denial. So when the Ultrasound tech told us that it was a baby girl I was excited but really nervous at the same time. The thought kept running through my head I dont know what to do with a girl. Now that I have had some time to fully digest it all I am really excited and can't wait for our baby girl to arrive. Sean still has no idea that he will have a new baby girl coming into his life. So anyone has cute baby girl clothes they want to loan out let me know.

Working on the house

So on New Year's day we went up to Greg's parents house to finally have Christmas with them and open all the gifts from them and share our gifts with them. Well while we were there Sean thought it would be the perfect time to try and be just like grandpa. It all started out with him taking grandpa's glasses and trying to wear them. Then he proceeded to go outside with grandpa and dad to help take down the lights. At first he was just watching and loving life and then he decided that he needed to be a big boy and help grandpa out. So little to mom's knowledge Sean proceeds to climb up to the top of the ladder all by himself and then climb back down. He was so proud of himself. Sean has become quit the climber lately. On top of climbing up the latter he also figured out how to climb out of his crib and climb up the ladder at the playground. So a whole new challenge for me, I can't use the crib for time out anymore.
