So much alike

Well as you all know we have a new addition to our family. Brianna is so sweet and so much fun. Sunday was our first day as a whole family and it was fun but quit interesting. Sean wanted to do everything for Brianna and help with everything, which is great but as some of you know hard because he can't do everything. Well our first night was really rough both the kids were up from midnight until four am, luckily Greg was there to help so both kept taking turns with Sean trying to get him calmed down. See Sean feels bad and wants to help when he hears Brianna crying. So last night we got smart and turned on his radio in his room and for the most part he seemed to work, he only woke up once last night. So we are slowly but surely adjusting to having a newborn. So as I put on the title (so much alike) Sean and Brianna are so much alike its crazy, one as you can see from the pictures they look a ton alike, two they both love to spit up everything they eat, three they both hate getting their diapers changed, and fourth they both totally have their days and nights mixed up and fifth they both were born breech (Brianna decided to change position the day before she was delivered, good thing we had a scheduled C-section). It's so weird because Brianna reminds me a ton of Sean as a baby. I guess that's good in a way because I should know what to do since I have already done it. The one big difference between the two is Brianna is so small and so light, we like to call her misse moo or peanut or Sean calls her Bri, that is her nicknames for now. We are so excited and loving having Brianna in our family. I'm so thankful she came out healthy and strong.

Welcome Brianna

Well the day has finally come. The last couple of weeks I thought this pregnancy would never end. She is so cute and such a good baby. Sean even got to be there and meet her after she was born, I don't think he knows what to think of her. So she was born May 22, 2008 at 1:45 pm coming out with lots of brown hair and weighing 6 lbs 7 oz and 18.5 inches long. I can't believe how small she is and how beautiful she is. Me and Greg both think she looks alot like Sean but not the huge chunky cheeks. So far she has been good at eating and staying awake for a short while then back to sleep. Greg has been a lifesaver and helping out a ton. I forget how much recovery hurts after being sliced open but luckily it gets better by day two. Sean is off staying with Grandma and Grandpa McCllellan and having a ton of fun but missing us. We are so grateful for such a beautiful baby girl.

Baseball Player

Well it has been extremely hot here lately so we have been trying to get out as much as possible to not sit in the house with all the heat. So last weekend we all went a work party at the park. It was so much fun. Sean made new friends and played in a bounce house and then he stole the older kids baseball bat and helmet to try on. So as you can see from the pictures Sean is starting to figure out how to hold the bat, Greg is so proud of Sean. Also he decided to show off his muscle and run around for a little while without a shirt on but a New York Yankee hat on. He's so much fun and I love how social he is and not shy at all, it makes it so much fun to take him places cause he automatically makes friends wherever he goes.

Priceless!!

Well it has been a long time since I have blogged, I just have been so worn out that I don't feel up to much lately, but only one week left until little Brianna joins us. So for Sean's birthday Greg's mom gave Sean this cute shirt that says "grandma says I'm priceless" and ever since last week after mothers day it really hit me how precious he really is. Just the way he laughs when we read stories because he knows I laugh at certain parts, or how he will give you kisses if you say you have an owie, or how he learned how to pretend cry, or even when he curls his lip and narrows his eyebrows because I told him no. I could never imagine not having Sean in my life, he really is precious and priceless. I think all kids are so precious and so innocent, I wish I could be like them more and more. I am so thankful for all the great mom's I have around me, I am especially thankful for my mom and what a great example she was to me, she could always cheer me up no matter what she did and I know she would of given up anything in the world just to make us happy. I'm also thankful for all the great examples I see everyday of good mom's around me and the great advice they give. I want to throw in a great big thank you to Greg and what a wonderful guy he is and how goes up and beyond being a husband and dad, I've never seen a dad so involved with every aspect of Sean's life.

Happy Birthday Greg!!

Well it has been a busy last couple of weeks. It seems like we just did Sean's birthday and now it is time for Greg's birthday, once Brianna is born it will be Sean's birthday then Greg's two weeks later then Brianna's two weeks after that. I know I'm crazy. Well Greg had a great birthday, at least I hope so. He got to celebrate it for three days. On Wednesday we opened gifts as a family and he blew out candles with Sean. I think Sean enjoyed it more than Greg. Greg finally got his surfboard cover that he's wanted forever. Then Thursday night me and Greg got to go out to dinner at this really nice fish restaurant and then we walked around and talked and just enjoyed adult time. For dessert we went to pinkberry and I felt bad cause Greg wasn't too fond of pinkberry but now I know for next time. Then on Greg's actual birthday he had to work so me and Sean called to wish him happy birthday. We think the world of you Greg and we think you are the best. We miss you tons when you are gone. (Sorry I was a bad wife and did not take any pictures)
